Beaver Williams is currently delivering an end-of-life asset replacement project for a major transport infrastructure control facility in Sydney’s west, supporting the client’s efforts to improve HVAC reliability and long-term building performance.
The project involves the staged replacement of seven chilled water fan coil units and air handling units that have reached the end of their service life. Works include the decommissioning of existing equipment, installation of new chilled water units, ductwork modifications, reconnection of chilled water pipework, electrical and control services, pressure testing, commissioning, and Building Management System (BMS) integration.
When critical HVAC assets begin to approach the end of their operational life, planned replacement programs can help minimise the risk of unexpected failures, improve energy efficiency, and support the ongoing operation of essential facilities.
Our team has worked closely with the client to carefully plan and stage the upgrade, helping to minimise disruption while maintaining the performance requirements of this important operational environment.
